The Association of Korean Independent Film & Video to hold an online screening "Independent film meets the audience"

Ahead of 'The Indi Docu Festival 2005' greeting the 5th as of this year, The Association of Korean Independent Film & Video is holding an online screening "Independent film meets the audience", which introduces a total of 11 films screened last year online again, by June 6.

An official at the Association said that he wishes the Korean Independent Film Festival would be able to meet more audience with more diverse channels, getting out of just one time's meeting through this online film screening.

Since its establishment on September, late 1998, The Association of Korean Independent Film & Video has been striving for independent film's social status, cinema culture's diversity enlargement and so forth.

The Association's members also have been extending social movement's scope via their earnest social utterance by means of cinema, presenting a new and challenging themes and screening aesthetics.

The Indi Docu Festival, which is held in late Autumn every year not least under the slogan "Experiment! Progress! Dialogue!", has been introducing the latest trend of domestic independent documentary.

The SIDOF(Seoul Independent Documentary Festival) is the only international documentary festival in Korea, where you can meet the very current stream of documentary films, videos and promising documentary filmmakers from all around the world.

The SIDOF introduces Korean Independent documentary films more and more growing in quantity and quality with each passing year to the inside and outside. In addition, it prospects the current trend of documentary films around the world, and screens international documentary masterpieces with historical significance.

It will surely help all of audiences in affection and passion for documentaries have genuinely mutual understanding and participate in a field of communication.
