The Chaser extends awards lead

17th Buil Film Awards, hosted by the Busan Ilbo newspaper, awarded Hong Sang-soo's "Night and Day" with the Best film award. Best director and Best male actor awards went to "The Chaser"'s Na Hong-jin and Kim Yun-seok respectively. Soo Ae received the Best actress award for her lead role in "Sunny".
"The Chaser" went home with four awards, it also won the Busan Ilbo readers award and the editing award.
Buil Film Awards made its comeback after an absence of 35 years. The award show started in 1958 and was held annually until 1973. The event took place on October 9 at the Grand Hotel in Haeundae, Busan.
