The greatest supporting actors have come together for "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo"

Ahn Kil-kang, Kang Ki-young, Choi Moo-sung, Jang Young-nam, Jung In-gi, Lee Jung-eun and more have come together for the new MBC drama "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo".

Ahn Kil-kang takes on the role of Kim Bok-joo (Lee Sung-kyung)'s father, Kim Chang-geol. Kang Ki-young is Bok-joo's uncle Kim Dae-ho, Choi Moo-sung is Haneol Physical Education University Weightlifting coach Yoon Deok-man and Jang Young-nam is coach Choi Seong-eun. Jung In-gi is Jeong Joon-hyeong's (Nam Joo-hyuk) father and Lee Jung-eun, his mother.

These supporting actors have added another level of enthusiasm for the drama. They are all important characters to Bok-joo and Joon-hyeong as they help them grow and experience the struggles of achieving their dreams.

Ahn Kil-kang is a passionate father who runs a chicken restaurant to support his daughter's weightlifting life and Kang Ki-young is an immature uncle who dreams of being an actor.

Choi Moo-sung's role of Deok-man is a man of endurance and perseverance and he loves to talk about his heroic days. Jang Young-nam is Bok-joo's love coach who does the 'inside work' on the team. Jung In-gi and Lee Jung-eun are warm parents to Joon-hyeong.

"Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo" is a youth drama about weightlifting champion Kim Bok-joo who experiences true love. It is written by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Soo-jin-III and it's produced by Oh Hyeon-jong. The drama will be released in November.
