"The Handmaiden" Kim Min-hee, Kim Tae-ri, Ha Jung-woo and Cho Jin-woong at Cannes

The cast of "The Handmaiden" will be at the 69th Cannes International Film Festival.

"The Handmaiden" has received an official invitation to the 69th CIFF and will be part of the opening ceremony. Director Park Chan-wook, actors Kim Min-hee, Kim Tae-ri, Ha Jung-woo and Cho Jin-woong are going to be there.

The director and cast are going to be at the press conference and Red Carpet event on the 14th of May.

This is Park Chan-wook's third visit to Cannes as he was there for the 57th CIFF with "Oldboy" and the 62nd with "Thirst". Along with him, Kim Min-hee, Ha Jung-woo, Cho Jin-woong and rookie Kim Tae-ri will be rolling with worldwide movie makers in Cannes.

"The Handmaiden" is a movie about a lady who inherits a tremendous amount of fortune from her parents, a count who wants her wealth and the lady's servant and guardian who is offered a deal by the count.

The movie is coming out in June.
