"The Himalayas" is showing persistence with 7.2 million audiences.

According to the Korean Film Council, 49,067 more was added to the movie's record, resulting in the movie coming in 1st of the Box Office. The accumulated number is estimated to be 7,243,036.

2nd in the Box Office came "Good Dinosaur", a Disney Pixar movie with a record of over 673, 501. In 3rd place is "The Insiders" with 1,664,032.

"The Himalayas" was released on the 16th of December last year and came in 1st of the Box Office until "Good Dinosaur" beat it. Then tables turned and "The Himalayas" is in the lead once again. It recorded 1 million audiences 4 days after its released, 2 million in 8, 4 million in 12, 5 million in 16, 6 million in 18 and more than 7 million in 26 days of its release. It's heading for 8 million.

"The Himalayas" is the adventure story of mountain climber Eom Hong-gil and his expedition who climbed up the Himalayas to recover a body of a mountain climber who never made it out alive starring Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo, Cho Seong-ha, Kim In-kwon, Ra Mi-ran and more.
