"The King: Eternal Monarch" Casting Controversy Smoothed Over

The new SBS drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" explained that the actor mentioned in this 'casting power trip' was cast for the role of a detective in October of 2019, but after an alteration, the character's age went up, hence, the fall through of the casting.

Apparently there has been a misunderstanding on the actor's part due to the delay in contact by the director and after numerous apologies and phone calls, the director explained the reason for the fall through and the actor as well as the agency had understood.

A media reported ahead of this that there was a 'power tripping casting issue' with "The King: Eternal Monarch". It claimed that an actor that was supposed to be in the drama was at a loss. However, the production stepped forward to explain things until the situation simmered down.
