2014/10/29 Source

Shin Sung-rok is starring in the KBS 2TV drama "The King's Face" as Do-chi, a face reader.

Do-chi is a skilled face reader. Although he dreams about a world of equality and union, a series of unfortunate events make him change into an ambitious young man who has a burning desire for revenge on the world.

Do-chi loves Ga-hee (Jo Yoon-hee), but she has Gwang Hae (Seo In-guk) and the gap in identity makes him burn even more.

Poke face Shin Sung-rok plays Do-chi, a character who will induce conflict between Seon Jo (Lee Sung-jae) and Gwang Hae.

In the pictures, Shin Sung-rok is riding a horse and he looks secretive. Or, he can be seen face reading from afar and his eyes seem to show he's completely engrossed in his character. His comic-like visual brings out the charisma in him which absorbs viewers into the drama.

Shin Sung-rok said, "It's my first historical so I feel nervous, but I think I can manage looking at the director and my fellow cast. I am working hard to bring out the desire in my character so you can look forward to it".

"The King's Face" is the up-and-down life of Gwang Hae who was born the son of a concubine and makes his way up to the throne. To be broadcasted in November.
