According to sources, a member of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office's Reform Committee said on November 25, "The Committee for Past Affairs decided to review eight more cases in addition to the 25 cases cireently under review". Among these is the casing regarding Jang Ja-yeon's sexual exploitation that had been of great public interest at the time.

The late Jang Ja-yeon killed herself in 2009 and left behind a handwritten letter revealing the truth about sexual favors that she was forced to provide. Her letter detailed the people involved.

Investigations into the names were begun, but ten of them were found not guilty and only Jang's agency director and manager were booked without confinement.

Meanwhile, the committee for past affairs will commence a review to determine whether or not the prosecution had improperly handled the past case. The past affairs committee was launched on the 12th to elucidate the abused of human rights and prosecution's rights by the prosecution. It plans to finalize the case in the next month and will set up an investigative agency under the Supreme Prosecutors' Office if the incident is selected.
