"The Legend" Anmyundo set opens to residents

The Anmyundo set of the fantasy period drama series "The Legend" opened its doors for the first time to residents. According to officials, 200 local residents were invited to the set of "The Legend" to attend the set opening event. The outdoor military tents, marketplace, and other filming locations were presented to the public.

The Anmyundo set of "The Legend" was not open to the public or residents until now. Numerous tourists from Japan have been visiting this set everyday since the drama series started airing. Especially gather more on days when Bae Yong-joon is scheduled to film.

With the December broadcast of "The Legend" through NHK in Japan, more tourists are expected to visit the site.

CEO Hong In Eui of Chungnam Development Corporation says, "As 'The Legend' is scheduled to be exported to not only Japan but also Southeast Asia, the U.S. and 90 other countries, we hope to gather more tourists. With the filming ending in November, we are planning to develop the area as a themed tourist attraction".
