Bringing back the old memories of the cobbled pavement near Deoksugung palace, the musical "Gwanghwamun [광화문] Love Song" has begun. It is the last story of Lee Young-hoon, who passed away in 2008 at the age of 48.

[Interview : Lim Young-kun, Producer] "Composer Lee Young-hoon always wanted to produce a musical, and we were set to begin right away, but his health condition took a turn for the worse".

"Gwanghwamun Love Song" consists of 33 songs written by the late Lee. The musical holds great significance because right until his untimely death, Lee was in charge of the basic synopsis and spared no effort.

[Interview : Song Chang-eui, Role of "Sang-hoon"] " This is the result of two months of dramatizing the story and putting much effort while working on it".

[Interview : Lee Ji-na, Director] "Since the songs are going to be sung not by Lee Moon-se, but by the musical actors and actresses, the audience will look at it as another interpretation of Lee's music".

Mentioning the late Lee Young-hoon automatically brings up singer Lee Moon-se [이문세]. The late Lee's music became Lee Moon-sae's hits, and propelled him to stardom. The two Lees brought in a golden age of pop ballads between the 1980s and 1990s, and the same music is now the driving force of the musical.

[Interview : Yoon Do-hyun, Role of "Sang-hoon"] " The songs composed by Lee Young-hoon are pop ballads, and they seem very Korean because of their lyrics".

Particularly, the resounding vocals of the female singer Lisa are bound to overwhelm the audience.

[Interview : Lisa, Role of "Yeo-ju"] "I wail and sing at the same time, and I hit very high notes. It's my first time singing in this manner. The song forces me to use a lot of my energy and is very high-pitched, but I will sing with all my passion for the musical".

[Interview : Lim Young-kun, Producer] "Composer Lee Young-hoon passed away at a young age of 48. Whenever he wrote a new song, he always went through a great deal of pain that reduced his longevity. I will present a stage that will leave Lee's music as a Beautiful Legacy for future generations to come".

The audience will be moved by the orchestra pieces that will present a sophisticated piece.

[Interview : ] "Is this you, Grandmother[Interview : ] " That's not me".
[Interview : ] "She is someone Grandfather can never forget. She is his first love".

With sheer willpower, people can achieve near-heavenly romance and meet those they cannot usually meet. As Korea's first movie to depict Heaven, Director Jang Jin's movie "Romantic Heaven" shows Jang's idea of such realm, and expectations are already running high.

[Interview : Jang Jin, Director] " The term "romantic heaven" is an extension to softness or warmth".

[Interview : Kim Dong-wook, Actor] "I am very sure this is going to be a fun movie. It will go beyond your expectations".

[Interview : Kim Soo-ro, Actor] "I am happy because the character I played in "Romantic Heaven" is the exact opposite of the characters I have played so far".

"Romantic Heaven" holds even more significance for Jang as this is his tenth film. This spring is bound to be filled with warm sensibility, brought by laughter, happiness and deeply moving scenes.
