This Week's New Releases

Time now for our weekly check of what's new at the movies.
Hollywood films dominate this week, but we do have one Korean tear-jerker starring one of the country's favorite stars.
Here's Lee Jeewon.
We begin with the "Eleventh Mom".
Actress Kim Hye-soo, known for her glitz and glamour at premiers, shows a new side in this Korean drama.
She plays the 11th visitor to come live with a boy whose alcoholic father keeps bringing bar waitresses home to take care of his son.
Not surprisingly none of them stay long.
And while Kim's character and the boy can't seem to get along at first, they eventually grow attached to each other just to realize they soon have to separate.

Next is a collaboration of the French and American movie industries, Hitman.
A man named Agent 47 is a professional assassin for hire and he takes great pride in his work.
But he gets into trouble when he gets caught up in a political takeover.
Forty-seven becomes the target of both Interpol and the Russian military across Eastern Europe.
In the meantime he falls for a beautiful girl, which might work against his survival.

And of course. who can resist the main actor of this Hollywood flick, George Clooney.
He stars as Michael Clayton in a movie of the same name.
Clayton is a quote-unquote fixer who cleans up legal messes for the rich and powerful on behalf of a prestigious New York City firm.
But after 13 years in the business the former litigator grows tired of his clientele.
The film portrays four crucial days in his life when his mid-life crisis converges with a sudden sense of conscience.
