"Three Brothers" scores fourth TV win

KBS weekend drama "Three Brothers" took their fourth consecutive win on television charts last week to maintain the title as the most-watched televised show in the country, according to statistics on Monday.

Numbers by TNS Korea and AGB Nielsen Media Research indicated that the show scored viewership ratings of 35.7 percent and 36.0 percent, respectively, to remain on top of both charts for the week of March 8 to 14.

The family drama is based on the lives of three brothers played by Korean actors Ahn Nae-sang, Oh Dae-gyu and Lee Joon-hyuk.

Meanwhile, KBS historical drama "The Slave Hunters" held onto the No. 2 spot with ratings of 32.7 percent and 31.3 percent on the charts.

Rounding off the top three shows for the second week of March was variety program "Happy Sunday" with ratings of 27.4 percent and 25.9 percent on TNS and AGB polls, respectively.
