[TV Program] Content-Related Government Agencies Hold a Joint Briefing to Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism

Participating customers of contents policy (academia and industry) also discuss ways to create jobs and to further promote Hallyu (Korean Wave).
Six content-related government agencies including Korea Creative Content Agency(President & CEO Lee Jae-woong), Korea Film Council(Chairman Cho Hee-moon), Korea Media Rating Board(Chairman Ji Myeong-hyeok), Korea Film Archive(Chairman Lee Byung-hoon), Game Rating Board(Chairman Lee Su-geun) and Korea Copyright Commission(Chairman Lee Bo-Kyung) will hold a 2010 joint business briefing to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on January 13 at Korea Culture and Contents Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul.

The briefing is organized to share information on their core businesses and key strategies designed to promote content creation.

And it aims at providing contributions to advancing the day of catapulting Korea into one of the top 5 content producing nations by increasing synergies between projects implemented by relevant organizations, thereby bringing about better results.

The briefing will be attended by more than 20 policy customers from academia and industry who will discuss ways to create creative jobs in content industry and to improve Korea's global status by further promoting the global spread of Hallyu content. The results of the discussion will be reflected in future content policies and businesses.

For the briefing, the Korea Creative Content Agency will review the achievements that have been made since the merger, and explain its key strategies for 2010 which include training and fostering creative human resources in content industry, stimulating R&D on culture technology and expanding its global reach to strategically critical markets including U.S. and China.
