On September 21st, the production team of 'Sginal' has announced that they cast Kim Hye-soo, Cho Jin-woong and Lee Je-hoon as the leading actors.

Detectives in present time and detectives from the past communicate with each other through old fashioned walkie-talkie in order to solve a long term cold case. The drama is highly anticipated for being a collaborative work by writer Kim Eun-hee-I of "Three Days", 'Ghost – Drama' and "Sign" and director Kim Won-seok of "Incomplete Life" and 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal'.

While the proven star Lee Je-hoon has already been cast, the A-list actress of all time, Kim Hye-soo, and Cho Jin-woong, who won Best Actor Award at Baeksang Art Awards and scored the double titles as ten million viewer actor for his roles in movies "The Admiral: Roaring Currents", and "The Assassination", have been confirmed for the drama.

This is the first time for all the three leading actors to appear in a tvN drama and the cast is a unique combination, unprecedented in dramas we well as in movies. Therefore, it is anticipated that they are going to make a refreshing influence in drama production field.

Director Kim Won-seok said, "The interaction among the three leading actors is critical in "Signal". We made a lot of efforts to cast the best actors to match the best screenplay. After reading the screenplay, the three actors were the first ones came to my mind. I just vaguely wished, 'How delightful it would be, only if I could cast all of them'. And the wish came true and I feel incredibly happy and at the same time a huge responsibility as well now. I will do my best to produce a drama that matches the anticipation from our potential viewers".
