TVXQ members to endorse Nature Republic

Singers Xiah Junsu, Kim Jae-joong and Park Yoo-chun have become the new face of Korean cosmetics brand Nature Republic, according to the company on Monday.

Nature Republic announced through a press release that the three, originally members of popular five-man band TVXQ, have agreed to endorse the brand for a year.

"Our company plans to carry out differentiated marketing strategies targeted at both the domestic and Hallyu customers through the three members of TVXQ who are exerting influence as strong as models throughout Asia", Nature Republic explained of its reason signing with the trio.

Xiah, Kim Jae-joong and Micky, who started their activities through a studio shoot in mid-August, will be promoting Nature Republic alongside Asian pop sensation Rain, the brand's main model since its launching in March last year.

The trio, who have ceased to work as members of TVXQ after getting involved in a legal dispute with their management agency SM Entertainment in July last year, have newly been pursuing their careers with top Japanese talenthouse Avex.

They recently also signed with East Asia Music Ltd., the music arm of major Hong Kong film studio Media Asia Group, to manage their careers in the China region.
