Two music films revolving around Incheon are showcased in international film festivals

Two music films featuring Inchon as a setting are screened at international film festivals. 'Turn It Up to 11' by director Baek Seung-hwa and 'Dancing Zoo' by Park Sung-Yong and Kim Gyeol are shown at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) and the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF), respectively. The production of 'Turn It Up to 11' was supported by the Inchon Film Commission.
'Turn It Up to 11' will be screened in the section 'Off the Fantastic' at the 13th PiFan and 'Dancing Zoo' in the section 'World Music Film Today' at the 5th JIMFF.
'Turn It Up to 11' is a feature documentary film, which received documentary production support. It revolves around 'Tobacco Juice' and other bands playing music at 'Ruby Salon' in Pu-Pyong. Their stories are depicted in a realistic and pleasant way in the movie. The director plays the role of a drummer. It is about worries of youths and their desire for art, loneliness of urbanite, and growing pain of boys and girls. It is screened on July 18 and 23.

'Dancing Zoo' received independent production support. It follows love and break-up of a young couple playing music at Songlim-dong, Dong-gu while depicting their story without exaggeration. Indie musicians were casted. It is included in the only competing section of JIMFF which takes place from 14 to 16, Aug.
