Two Star Couples Divorce

Star couple Lee Young-ha, 57, and Sun-woo Eun-sook, 46, have decided to end their 26 year marriage by mutual-consent divorce, according to the November issue of Women's Chosun.
Lee said that they decided to divorce in order to give each other more freedom. There had been rumors of troubles in their marriage and even a separation, but the two had denied the talk.
"We didn't decide to divorce because of a certain or specific incident. As we grew older our feelings for each other changed, so we thought it would be better to give each other freedom", Lee explained in a recent interview. Their two sons also understand and respect their decision, Lee said.
Meanwhile, another actor-actress couple -- Park Cheol, 39, and Ok So-ri, 36 -- has also ended their marriage. The divorce was revealed when Park filed a divorce suit.
According to an entertainment industry insider, Park filed for a suit for a divorce and his share of common property. However, an industry insider close to Park and Ok said, "It's true that Park filed a divorce suit, but they are making their best efforts to solve the issue smoothly. Although Park filed the suit, they are exerting their utmost effort to compromise. There is also a possibility that Park will drop the suit and the two will divorce by mutual agreement".
That means that even if Park were to drop the suit, the two would eventually divorce. Park and Ok have an eight-year-old daughter.
