Uhm Jung-hwa, "I enjoy love over work sometimes"

Singer actor Uhm Jung-hwa expressed her honest thoughts about love and work.

During her interview with fashion magazine Elle on June 24th, she said "I like love over work sometimes".

Uhm Jung-hwa said, "I have always been dreaming of acting and singing since childhood" and "Luckily my dreams came true and it helped me gain more confidencein me". She also described herself as a late bloomer.

"I even appreciate and value the waiting time now until my movie 'Wonderful Nightmare' is released in August", said she. She added "While my previous movie, "Montage" was a heavy thriller movie, 'Wonderful Nightmare' is a heartwarming comedy".

Uhm Jung-hwa stars as Yeon-woo in 'Wonderful Nightmare', who turns into an ordinary housewife from a successful lawyer overnight. She said "A woman, who has been living a self-restricted life only pursuing success in her career, is exposed to all the emotions within a family environment. She then starts to experience that the wall around her heart is pulled down".

When she was asked about if she had experienced any similar situation that had affected her attitudes towards life, she said, "I previously thought I should accomplish something before I turn 40s. I tend to be more relaxed now compared to before".
