Um Tae-goo, "Love and Modesty, That's What I Try to Live by"

A pictorial featuring actor Um Tae-goo's conflicting charms was released on the 28th.

The pictorial, which was released in the August issue of GQ Korea, a men's fashion magazine, catch eyes with its styling and sensual visuals that contrast with glamour and static image. Um Tae-goo shows different directions in each cut with a deep and dreamy atmosphere. He completed another sensuous pictorial by digesting simple black and white clothes, colorful clothes, and bold accessories.

Um Tae-goo has confirmed his appearance in tvN's new drama "Hometown" which will air for the first time in September. "Hometown" is a mystery thriller drama about a detective chasing a series of murders in 1999 and a woman searching for her niece who was kidnapped in search of the worst terrorist ever. Um Tae-goo will play Jo Kyeong-ho, a life prisoner who committed the worst indiscriminate terrorist incident in the drama, and portray the mysterious character in his own color.

Um Tae-goo, who usually focuses solely on his work when he shoots, said in a pictorial interview, "I don't usually go out, but I try to refrain from doing anything when I work. I want to do better", he said, expressing his determination to film "Hometown". Regarding Jo Kyeong-ho's character, he also said, "This piece is particularly difficult. But looking back, there was no character that wasn't difficult, so I'm doing my best now".

He then mentioned the meaning of his name, which means 'the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit', and said, "It seems to be love and modesty are included in the nine things. I'm trying hard to live like that", he said, expressing his firm belief in life.
