"The new album took nine months to complete. I thought I would be able to juggle working on the album and appearing in a TV drama, but it wasn't easy", she said. "As I worked meticulously on recording the songs, as well as getting the sound of the chorus right, it took a lot longer than I initially thought".

Lee Ji-eun wrote two of the album's 13 songs. She collaborated with famous singers young and old on some of the others. The tracks range from swing to jazz, bossa nova, Latin pop and folk.

"Collaborating with many musicians gave me a lot of positive energy", said Lee Ji-eun. "Perhaps some people will think the album lacks consistency due to the diversity of genres, rather than having all the songs fit one theme or narrative. But my overriding goal was to pack it with great songs, and I think in this respect diversity was an asset".

"I missed performing songs on stage while I was busy focusing on the TV drama 'Lee Soon-sin is the Best'," she said. "So I'm happy and excited to be releasing the new album".

"I would like my career to span several fields. There are so many things I want to do, from hosting radio shows to TV programs", she added.
