"Very Ordinary Couple" is at the top for online bookings

2013/03/20 | 1040 views | Permalink | Source

Kim Min-hee and Lee Min-ki's movie "Very Ordinary Couple" is currently at the top in advanced sales.

According to the Korean Films Commission, "Very Ordinary Couple" rated 30.3% in advanced sales and beat "Paparoti", "Jango", "The New World", "Warm Bodies" and other competitions.

While "Paparoti" has been in the top Box Office, the movie industry wonders if Korean movies will take over the top rankings again this time. "Very Ordinary Couple" was also adult rated without any particularly disturbing scenes. A spokesperson for the Korean Films Commission said, "In the lines of the cast there are cuss words and slangs as well as lascivious, smoking and drinking scenes which might suggest different ideas to teenagers".

"Very Ordinary Couple" is about bankers Dong-hee (Lee Min-ki) and Young (Kim Min-hee) who are 3 years into a secret relationship. They portray a relationship that is hot and intense at times, then it suddenly becomes frigid.
