Veteran Actor Chon Un Dies at 67

Chon Un, a voice actor-turned-television star who was best known for his roles in the dramas "Taewongun" and "Haeddugo Talddugo," died of colon cancer Saturday morning in Ilsan. He was 67.
Chon had overcome injuries after a hemorrhage in July 2003 but it was after he was diagnosed with cancer six months ago he was forced to discontinue his career.
Chon was known for playing kind, fatherly figures with in various dramas since the late 1960s.
He is survived by his wife Park Jung-sun, two sons and one daughter.
