"Waiting For Rain" to Start Filming At The End of March

Kang Ha-neul's next project, melodrama movie "Waiting For Rain" (literal translation) will start filming at the end of March. This was confirmed by TH Company, the actor's agency.

The film tells about a man and a woman who finally meet after a long separation. Kang Ha-neul will play the role of Young-ho, a young man who tries several times to get into college. While living a meaningless life, he starts exchanging letters with a woman who will be portrayed by Chun Woo-hee.

"Waiting For Rain" will be directed by Jo Jin-mo who was behind hit film "Suicide Forecast" (2011). This is also Kang Ha-neul's comeback film after psychological thriller "Forgotten" (2017) three years ago,

After starring in hit drama "When the Camellia Blooms" post military service, Kang Ha-neul performed in theatre play "Fantasy Tale" which concluded on 1 March. Meanwhile, "Traveler Argentina", the actor's travel documentary show with Ahn Jae-hong and Ong Seong-wu is currently airing on cable channel JTBC. Kang Ha-neul is also positively considering joining the production of "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" which starts filming in July.
