Week's Movie Premieres

It's Friday which means it's time to check on this week's movie premieres.
Here's Son Heekyung.
First up this week is "Unstoppable Marriage" about two very different families seeking to get connected by marriage.
The comedy is about two young lovers who struggle to get parental permission to tie the knot.
Actors Eugene (Eugene) and Ha Seok-jin play a couple who are in for a bumpy road as their parents go all out to break them up.
The film has romance, humor and a family-oriented theme.

"I think the highlight of our film is seeing which couple gets married in the end".

Next up is another Korean film.
"The Railroad" is about two people who've been hurt in the past.
A male train driver travels on the Gyeongui railway on vacation.
He is reeling from shock after seeing a suicide at a train station.
A female university lecturer on the other hand gets on the railway after being hurt by her boyfriend.
The film's theme is that love is the only way to heal wounds.

Last up is the Japanese drama "Memories of Tomorrow".
Oscar-nominated actor Ken Watanabe stars as a successful businessman whose life is his work.
He's popular at the office, and is also a good father and husband.
But his world threatens to come crashing down after he's diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

"I play a character whose memory and thoughts go back and forth.
The sad reality is that as time passes, he begins to lose his memory, and finds it difficult to remember his loved ones.
Many scenes will touch the audience's heart".

A Korean film released in 2004 also dealt with the degenerative brain disease, "A Moment to Remember".
