Will director Park Chan-wook step on the red carpet at Cannes with Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman?

Director Park Chan-wook's Hollywood project "Stoker" is likely to be submitted in the 65th Cannes International Film Festival that is opening on the 16th of May.

Recent Hollywood reports and movie expert media have been looking positively at the possibilities of "Stoker" entering Cannes, along with the coming together of a Korean director and famous Hollywood actress.

Locals are depending highly on Park Chan-wook who has been forming a base of firm supporters with his movie "Oldboy" along with the enthusiastic support from distributors FOX.

Previously, Park Chan-wook has been awarded the Special Jury's Prize and the Jury Prize in Cannes for "Oldboy" and "Thirst". Looking at the fact that he's had the experience of his movies being in the film festival and his achievements, the likeliness of him stepping on the red carpet with Nicole Kidman is very high.

The scenario for "Stoker" was created by famous actor Wentworth Miller who starred in the American drama "Prison Break".

Other than Nicole Kidman, the cats includes, Matthew Goode from "Match Point", Mia Wasikowska from "Jane Eyre" and other talented actresses and actors.

"Stoker" is a story about a dead man's brother finding his wife and daughter who live in a quiet village. The movie is in the final editing process.
