He's attending the premiere of the tvN drama "Chicago Typewriter" with Lim Soo-jung, Go Kyung-pyo and Jo Woo-jin.

"Chicago Typewriter" is based in the 1930s, about a genius writer who is going through a bad time, a ghost writer who writes for him and a fan that turns anti.

The reporters' questions will flood on Yoo Ah-in on this day as he is close to joining National Service. "Chicago Typewriter" is the probably the last drama he will be in before he goes off for duty. Everyone wants to know what he's going to say regarding that.

Yoo Ah-in signed up for the Seoul Police Department in 2014 but the abolition of the 'celebrity soldier system' at the time led to its fall through. Yoo Ah-in then got check-ups four more times. The results put him on hold.

Now that he's 32 this year, he can't postpone it any longer. The fourth check-up results haven't been released officially yet but if that puts him on hold, it's likely he won't have to go after all.

Rumors of him evading his duties went around but it turns out he was diagnosed with osteoncus. However, when word got out that he was going to star in "Chicago Typewriter", speculations started circulating again. People seemed him treacherous for starring in another drama when he claimed he was going to finally serve his duty to the country.

Yoo Ah-in hasn't made any official comments about this matter yet but reporters look forward to hearing something at the premiere on the 5th.
