Windows 8 Tablet to Upstage Android Tablet in Two Years: Counterpoint Research

A new player has arrived on the tablet scene and it means business.

Microsoft's recently unveiled Windows 8 Tablet is forecast to grab a greater market share than Android tablets in just TWO years..
Hong Kong based market research firm Counterpoint Research says market share for Windows 8 tablets will steadily rise from three percent this year to reach twenty-nine percent by 2014.
Android's market share is forecast to shrink to twenty-eight percent over the same period.
Counterpoint says the inclusion of Microsoft Office on the Windows 8 tablet makes it very attractive to consumers who have become accustomed to using desktop applications like Microsoft Word.
