With Korean dramas, NHK posts revenues of a total of 7.7 billion yen

In connection with Korean dramas, NHK appeared to post revenues of a total of 7.7 billion yen, approx. 72.6 billion won, as product sales last year.
Product sales associated with 'Winter Sonata', among them, recorded 4.5 billion yen, approx. 42.5 billion won.
Japanese sports newspapers reported all at once on April 15 that NHK has posted revenues of 7.7 billion yen with Hanryu product in 2004.
NHK Enterprise, an affiliated company of NHK, is forecast to exceed approx. 7.7 billion yen in 2004 in connection with an amount of product sales associated with Korean dramas such as 'Winter Sonata's DVD & video, these sports newspapers said.
NHK Enterprise has showed 18.8 billion yen, approx. 177.2 billion won as total amount of DVD, video sales.
Among them, 'Winter Sonata' gained revenues of approx. 4.5 billion yen and if 'Beautiful Days' & 'All-in' are united, Korean dramas account for 40% amongst total amount of sales.
