Wonderful Days Screened at the Tokyo Film Festival

Korean animation Wonderful Days known for colorful graphics and unprecedented scale will soon be screened in Japan.

Gainax of Japan recently launched a webpage (www.wonderfuldays.co.jp) to market the animation prior to the theatre screening.

The animation's sophisticated and vibrant graphics and overpowering scale are its strengths. It is a love story of three main characters who strive to survive in the devastated earth of the future time.

The Japanese webpage includes the trailer, background information, and news.
The Japanese dubbing work is already completed. Yamaga Hiroyuki was put in charge of the Japanese script editing and direction. Akeda Yashiroshi was the producer. Participation by famous voice actors is notice-worthy.

The main character Suha was played by Yamadera Kouichi famous for the role of Spike from Cowboy Bebop, and Jay was played by Sanada Asami.

The animation will be screened in Japan between January and March 2005. Producer Hwang Gyeong-seon of the Teen House stated, "Even though the screening schedule is not finalized, we are informed that they are aiming for the early next year. It will be screened at the Tokyo Film Festival in October prior to the actual theatre screening".
