Yang Dong-geun was interviewed for the premiere of the film "The Night of the Undead".

In the interview, Yang Dong-geun said his values on acting have changed a lot following his marriage and having children. He said, "Before, I wouldn't have been able to do something that I didn't understand or didn't get immersed into but now I've changed".

He added, "They call it 'life acting'. I feel like I've become more technical after having children and having to take care of my family. I've become determined to do whatever role ever since I've become a father. I guess you can say the old me isn't here anymore. I live for my wife and my children".

Furthermore, the actor and singer said, "In my 20s, I immersed too much into my character so I used up a lot of energy. But now that I think of myself as a 'technical actor' it makes me feel more comfortable".

Yang Dong-geun continued, "I can say now that I am brave enough to do whatever I can rather than what I want. I didn't understand 'makjang' dramas before. I thought to myself, 'why would they make such dramas?' or 'why would they deteriorate reality like that?' but now I know that's just reality. I can do it now".

Meanwhile, "The Night of the Undead" is a comic SF thriller about a fight between humans with 'Unbreakable', an alien who never dies. Yang Dong-geun takes on the role of Doctor Jang, who has been researching the existence of 'Unbreakable' for a long time.
