Yeon Jung-hoon and Soo Ae to receive Excellence in Acting Awards at Grime Awards 2015

Yeon Jung-hoon and Soo Ae received Best Actor and Best Actress awards at Grime Awards 2015, which took place in the afternoon on December 10th at KBS New Building in Yeouido-dong, Seoul on December 10th.

Yeon Jung-hoon and Soo Ae received Best Actor and Best Actress awards for their roles in SBS "Mask". Drama "Mask" was crowned three awards in total by winning Top Excellence in Drama Award as well.

SBS "Yong Pal" received Grand Prize (Oh Jin-seok) and Best Director and MBC "She Was Pretty" won Best Lighting Director Award (Kim Yong-sam) and Excellence in Drama Award (Lee Jin-seok, Roh Hyeongsik) for each of the two dramas to take two awards.

The New Best Actor Award was given to Jo Bo-ah. She said during her acceptance speech, "This is my first award I receive since I debuted. I'm so happy" and then she burst into tears.

KBS 2TV "Unkind Women" and tvN "Bubble Gum" also received Excellence in Drama Awards. MBC 'Scholar Who Walks the Night' received Frontier Award.

Top Excellence in Documentary Award was given to Hong Ui-kwon, filming director of EBS Documentary Prime 'Evolution Mystery - Venom'. The winners of Excellence in Documentary Awards include OBS 'Silkaholic', KBS 1TV 'Next Human' and KBS 1TV 'Korean Geographic – The Secret Island in West Sea, Gyeokryeolbi Archipelago'

Grime Awards has been established by Korean Directors of Photography Society in 1993.
