Cha shared her key to success without hesitation, and that is "investing in people she works with".

"There are a lot more hair salons in the country than people think, and the number keeps growing", said Cha. "From day one, I knew it was very important to spend money to nurture staffers. There is a high turnover rate in this industry. As soon as a hairdresser starts to gain a reputation, he or she can get scouted by other hair salons".

After graduating from high school, Cha started to work in a hair salon owned by her aunt. "When I was young, I didn't know what I liked to do, so I took lots of different part-time jobs", she said. "I used to sell clothes, shoes, and had many other jobs. Then I coincidentally discovered my talent while working in a hair salon. In retrospect, I think what's really important is passion. If you think you've found something that suits you, don't get distracted and just get on with it".

She has achieved a lot at a somewhat young age, but she does not plan to stop there. "I have three goals. Firstly, I want to work more on simple and easy self-styling tips to help people make themselves look good. Secondly, I want to manage my academy well. I think it's important to constantly retrain staff. If the academy expands, I want to provide training opportunities not only to my staff but to others as well. Lastly, I want to open shops in London and Paris in seven years".
