Korean idols ZE:A rocked the stage for their first concert in Japan over the weekend, according to their agency Star Empire Entertainment.

Star Empire announced Tuesday that the nine-member boy band performed in front of 4,000 fans for their sold-out concert titled "ZE:A Premium Live in Japan" held at the Blitz Hall located in Tokyo on Saturday.

They kicked off the show with a performance of their debut single "Mazel Tov" followed by other hit songs such as "New Star", "Love Coach remix" and "Every Day".

"We believe that this concert was unlike the other ones that we have had. Even though we practiced really hard for the past two months for this concert, we had so much fun because of all the positive responses that fans have shown us", the members of ZE:A were quoted as saying.

Composed of members Kevin, Hwang Kwanghee, Im Si-wan, Moon Jungyoung, Kim Taehun, Jung Hee-chul, Ha Minwoo, Park Hyungshik and Kim Dongjun, ZE:A (Children of the Empire) made their debut with their first mini-album "Nativity" in January this year.

They followed it up with their second mini-album "Leap for Detonation" in April and then released "Level Up" three months later.

The group has visited various countries in Asia including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan to promote themselves and their songs.

Their concert "ZE:A Premium Live in Japan" is scheduled to air in the country through Japan's TBS.
