Ahn Seung-gyun, who joined the military in February last year, has recently been discharged from the military and is currently considering a return film for next year's activities.

Ahn Seung-gyun said, "I've been working hard on my work, but I finished my service with my pure and lovely friends at a special place in my twenties. Perhaps, I feel like I've filled my heart in a warm place, looking back on the time that passed without taking care of myself. I feel sad because I have a lot of affection, but now I'm back to the excitement and waiting for my work. I'm trying to share what I filled into good works again".

Ahn Seung-gyun's agency PF Company said, "Ahn Seung-gyun has continued to work on more than 30 works since his debut and has established a solid position in Chungmuro enough to be the first Korean actor to win the Best Actor Award at the 42nd Durban International Film Festival". As he has become more mature after completing his duty of defense, he will return to his rookie attitude and initial intention and more resonant acting.

Meanwhile, Ahn Seung-gyun has been recognized for his overwhelming acting skills through plays such as "Let Me In", dramas "Solomon's Perjury", "My Mister", and Netflix "All of Us Are Dead". In particular, in 2021, he won the Best Actor Award at the 42nd Durban International Film Festival for "Kill Me Now".
