Beauty contestants believe 'leg line' most important :survey

"Leg line" is the most cared about body part by beauty contestants who are participating in the 2012 Miss Korea Pageant. The contest will be held on July 6 in the Hall of Peace at Kyung Hee University.

In a survey by the organizer of the pageant, 33 out of 54 contestants replied that they believed the leg line was the most important part of their bodies.

Hip line and waist line placed second with six each, followed by shoulder line with two.

Thirty-four contestants replied that they care about their body shape in their daily life; 21 of them cited diet as the way of keeping in trim, 16 used weight training and nine yoga or pilates.

When asked how much money do they spend to keep their body in shape, 28 of the respondents said they spend 100,000~200,000 won a month, followed by 200,000~300,000 won by eight contestants, 300,000~400,000 won by four and 400,000~500,000 won by three. Eleven replied that they did not spend any money or more than 500,000 won.

Thirty-three participants said they spend one hour to two a day exercising, followed 13 who spent two-three hours.

Twenty-one of the participants picked their leg line as the part of their body they were most confident with, followed by 16 who chose their waist and nine their face.

Twenty-five contestants chose actress Kim Sa-rang as the figure they want to resemble in body shape, followed by actress Shin Min-a with 20; Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Tae-hee came next.
