KBS 2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama "The Matchmakers" (written by Ha Soo-jin, directed by Hwang Seung-gi, and Kim Soo-jin-VIII), which will air first on the 30th, is a struggling comic melodrama in which a widor and a widower meet to carry out the 'marriage mission' of an old maiden and a bachelor. Rowoon plays the role of Sim Jeong-woo, the widower, who lives a double life, while widow Jeong Soon-deok is played by Cho Yi-hyun.

Choi Hee-jin plays Mrs. Jo, who is the wife of Dr. Maeng Sang-cheon of Sungkyunkwan and has three daughters representing the unmarried women in "The Matchmakers", showing her elegant appearance.

Mrs. Jo, who served as the de facto head of the family on behalf of her incompetent husband, who is a straight scholar externally but never engaged in economic activities inside, is now being cared for by her daughters because she is suddenly blind for some reason. She advises Soon-deok on the true meaning of family.

Actress Choi Hee-jin, who has shown constant acting transformation in a number of works, has impressed the public's mind through the movies "Broker", "KIM Jiyoung: Born 1982", "Steel Rain 2: Summit" and "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance", the dramas "Crash Course in Romance", "The Fabulous", "Mental Coach Jegal" and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay".

In particular, she played the role of Lee Bo-ram, the newly appointed team leader in the call center termination defense team in the movie "Next Sohee" which was released this year, giving her breathtaking tension throughout the running time.

Meanwhile, "The Matchmakers" starring Choi Hee-jin, will premiere at 9:45 PM on the 30th.
