Coupang Play Confirms Bae Doona, Ryoo Seung-bum, Baek Yoon-sik's "Family Planning"

Coupang Play announced on the 8th that it has confirmed the production and casting of the new series "Family Planning" and has begun filming.

"Family Planning" is a story about special powers disguised as family members to survive, and the extraordinary way they deal against the heinous criminals who threaten them.

Bae Doona will play the role of Han Yeong-soo, a mother who has special abilities and is friendly to children, and Ryoo Seung-bum will play the role of Baek Cheol-hee, a father who is somewhat timid but endlessly lovable to his wife. The role of Baek Kang-seong, a feisty but caring grandfather who cares about his family, is played by veteran actor Baek Yoon-sik. Lastly, Baek Ji-hoon, a warm and gentle son, will be played by Lomon, and a 17-year-old rookie Lee Soo-hyun joins as Baek Ji-woo, a feisty and sensitive daughter.

Kim Jung-min-XI, who wrote the drama "Hush" and "Suits", is in charge of creator and screenwriting, and the movie "On the Line" twin directors Kim Gok and Kim Sun participated in directing.

The "Family Planning" was cranked in late December and started filming, and will be released on Coupang Play in 2024.
