The national football team and staff gathered on Wednesday not for a match but for charity work.

They delivered 1,000 coal briquettes for people in need in Seoul's Nowon District and donated an additional 20,000 coal briquettes.

Among those who joined the volunteering effort were Korea Football Association chairman Chung Mong-gyu, national team manager Uli Stielike, former player and coach Cha Du-ri and players Lee Keun-ho, Kwon Chang-hoon and Kwak Tae-hwi.
