Go Woo-ri to Lead Star in "Animal Escape"

Actress Go Woo-ri, a former member of girl group Rainbow, will take on her first screen challenge.

On the 21st, her agency, said, "Go Woo-ri has been cast as the main character in the movie "Animal Escape".

"Animal Escape" is an SF thriller genre film in which animals that have become human during vaccine new drug trials are created against the backdrop of a virtual future that has become anarchy due to the outbreak of infectious diseases, and they escape the laboratory and chase defectors with former soldier Yoo Mi-ra and vaccine researcher Gong Soo-cheol.

In the movie, Go Woo-ri plays Yoo Mi-ra, a former soldier who suffered from the pain of abandonment as a child. Yoo Mi-ra is a strong character who thinks blind loyalty and individual sacrifice for the country should be borne, and expectations are high on what kind of acting transformation Go Woo-ri will show through the character Yoo Mi-ra.

Meanwhile, the movie "Animal Escape" directed and written by Park Joo-eun, will begin filming this year and be released next year.
