On the afternoon of the 22nd, an interview was held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, with Ha Yoon-kyung, who appeared in the ENA drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo".
The recently ended drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" depicts the survival of a large law firm of Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin), a new lawyer with a genius brain and autism spectrum at the same time. Ha Yoon-kyung played the role of Choi Soo-yeon, a colleague of Woo Young-woo's law school and a colleague of Hanbada.
Ha Yoon-kyung said, ""Extraordinary Attorney Woo", is the first work that I appeared in without auditioning", adding, "It was my long-cherished dream. I had a wish that I could appear in a work at least once without an audition", she confessed.
"It's surprisingly difficult to appear in a work without an audition", she said. "Some people get roles right away as a rookie, but it rarely happens and many actors go through audition after audition after audition".
"I lived a life where I had to audition a hundred times to land in a role. So it was a big dream. I thought it would be so nice to be seen without an audition and get cast for something from my previous work, but I was so grateful that I could achieve my dream with this work".
Ha Yoon-kyung said, "Choi Soo-yeon was a character who I had a lot to try as an actress. It is difficult to meet characters who are not simply used functionally, but have their own stories, values, and feel three-dimensional and complex emotions. It was a very grateful work and a character", she added.
