[HanCinema's News] "Crash Course in Romance" Tops Good Data Report for Eighth Straight Week

On March 6th, the Good Data Corporation released its data for the first week of March, here defined as February 27th to March 5th, regarding the Good Data Report, which tracks the performance of various South Korean television dramas across such non-traditional metrics as social media engagement. "Crash Course in Romance" was the most popular drama for the eighth straight week, and also the final one. "Crash Course in Romance" ended on March 5th with ratings of 17.038%.

The most popular performer was Roh Yoon-seo of "Crash Course in Romance" despite her not being the credited lead, in part because her character takes on particular importance in the final twists and turns of the plot. Jung Kyung-ho and Jeon Do-yeon, who were the credited leads, were second and third place. Shin Jae-ha in supporting cast took fourth place. Lee Chae-min in tenth place was the final "Crash Course in Romance" performer in the top ten.

"The Glory" will almost certainly top the Good Data Report next week, as the revenge drama returns with its second part on Netflix on March 10th, and has been a popular fixture on the Good Data Report in recent weeks despite the lack of new episodes. The crime drama "Big Bet" from Disney+ has been the only other high performing drama of note. "Big Bet" is also available on Hulu in some next markets.
