"HOPE Part 1" Casts Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon and Michael Fassbender

Director Na Hong-jin of "The Chaser", "The Yellow Sea" and "The Wailing" will direct a new movie "HOPE Part 1" (tentative title) with super-luxury cast members.

On the 29th (local time), foreign media Deadline reported that director Na Hong-jin is directing a new film "HOPE Part 1".

In a related development, Plus M Entertainment said director Na Hong-jin and Plus M Entertainment recently completed an investment/distribution contract for their new film "HOPE Part 1". Director Na Hong-jin and production company Forged Films promised the highest quality of completion, while Plus M Entertainment promised full support for the success of the project.

The new movie, directed by Na Hong-jin, is titled "HOPE Part 1". It is a mystery thriller about a story that takes place in Hopo Port, an isolated port village, and tells the story of residents fighting when the village is on the verge of being destroyed by an unknown existence.

In particular, super-luxury actors such as Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, and Jung Ho-yeon will participate in the work, drawing attention. Hwang Jung-min, who played the role of Il-sun in the movie "The Wailing", plays the rural police officer Beom-seok in "HOPE Part 1" and works with director Na Hong-jin once again. In addition, Zo In-sung, who has shown various acting by building solid filmography with "The Great Battle" and "Escape from Mogadishu", plays the role of young hunter Seong-gi.
