Ji Hyun-woo as a Director Once Again in "Everglow"

The movie "Everglow" unveiled Ji Hyun-woo's character still as a documentary director Kyeong-hoon.

Actor Ji Hyun-woo, who made a sensation as a national younger man by playing the role of a director in "Old Miss Diary - Movie" 16 years ago at the age of his early 20s, will return to the role of a director again in "Everglow". Kyeong-hoon, played by Ji Hyun-woo, goes to Seoul from Jeju Island to cover "Jeju's Diving Woman Jin-ok" and struggles to win her heart that stubbornly refuses to film, but quickly gets closer to Jin-ok after learning that she has the same wounds as him.

Actor Ji Hyun-woo, who has been working hard on his own filmography by focusing on the message of his work by appearing in the drama "Awl", which deals with problems of irregular laborers, and "Wanted", which deals with humidifier disinfectant cases. Although it was not an easy decision to show his unconventional love beyond generations, he expressed his belief once again by deciding to appear in "Everglow".

Ji Hyun-woo said, "I kept thinking after reading the scenario. I thought I could feel this emotion enough in Kyeong-hoon's situation", he said. "I decided to appear because I thought this movie could be sympathetic and comforting to someone. I want the audience to watch this movie with their hearts".

The movie "Everglorw" depicts a special love story between Jeju diver Jin-ok (Go Doo-shim) and director Kyeong-hoon (Ji Hyun-woo), who films a documentary with her as the main character. It is scheduled to be released in June.
