Jo Sung-mo Wows Japanese Fans

Ballad prince Jo Sung-mo captivated his Japanese fans at a concert held last Sunday in Tokyo. The concert at the Tokyo Forum was part of his two-month-long Korea-Japan tour.

Japan's music industry insiders have all applauded Jo for his exceptional vocal and beautiful sounds of Korean music taken from the original soundtrack of TV drama "Painter of the Wind". They said that Jo's performance was the best among all the K-pop stars, who have held concerts before in Japan.

Jo performed his all-time hits like "To Heaven", "Do You Know", and "Thorn Tree", as well as Maroon Five's "Sunday Morning" and various Christmas carols. He even did a little tap dance number, delighting some 5,000 people attending the concert. Some 1,000 fans stayed behind 40 minutes after the concert ended with the song "Last Christmas". He will return to Korea to hold the second leg of his tour, starting with a concert in Seongnam on Saturday and wrapping up with a performance on December 31 in Daejeon.
