Jolie's spy film tops box office, following her Korea visit

Angelina Jolie's new spy film "Salt" topped the box office chart in Korea on the day of its release, following her highly publicized visit to Seoul.
The film, which stars Jolie as a CIA agent accused of working for Russia, attracted 163,390 people on Friday, according to the Korean Film Council.
Jolie was heavily featured on local media outlets when she visited Seoul with four of her children from Wednesday night to Thursday for a press conference.
"Inception", starring Leonardo DiCaprio, ranked second on the chart with a total of 136,292 viewers.

할리우드 액션 블록버스터 '솔트'가 개봉 첫날 16만 관객을 동원하며 일일 박스오피스 1위에 올라 안젤리나 졸리의 방한 효과를 톡톡히 보고 있다.
30일 영화진흥위원회에 따르면 29일 개봉한 '솔트'는 이날 전국 534개 개봉관에서 모두 16만3390명의 관객을 불러 모았다. 전날 전야제 관객까지 합친 누적 관객수는 모두 20만5257명.
'솔트'는 주연배우 안젤리나 졸리의 방한으로 영화팬들의 큰 관심을 모았다. 졸리는 27일 자정 무렵 전세기편으로 한국을 찾은 뒤 28일 밤 미국으로 돌아갔다.
박스오피스 1위를 달리던 리어나도 디캐프리오 주연의 '인셉션'은 29일 13만6392명을 동원했고, 강우석 감독의 신작 '이끼'는 6만2397명을 불러 모았다.
'솔트'에 하루 앞선 28일 개봉한 '고사 두 번째 이야기:교생실습'은 7만8445명의 관객수를 기록했다.
