tvN announced on the 13th that it has confirmed the production of the drama "Golden Boy" and cast Jung Hae-in, Jung So-min, Kim Ji-eun, and Yoon Ji-on.

"Golden Boy" is a story about a woman who wants to change a life she doesn't like and the son of a mother friend who knows too well about her shameful childhood.

Jung So-min plays Bae Seok-ryoo, who is suddenly facing a crisis while on a roll at work. Jung Hae-in transforms into Choi Seung-hyo, the son of Bae Seok-ryoo's mother's friend and a young architect.

The two main characters know each other's 'black history' better than anyone else because their mothers are friends.

Kim Ji-eun plays Jeong Mo-eum, a passionate 119 paramedic and friend of Bae Seok-ryoo and Choi Seung-hyo, while Yoon Ji-on plays Kang Dan-ho, a reporter with strong conviction and responsibility.

"Golden Boy" was directed and written by director Yoo Je-won and writer Sin Ha-eun of the drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" which had a high viewer rating of around 12% in 2021.

The drama is scheduled to air this year, but the specific timing has not been confirmed.
