A comedian with surname Yang, who allegedly attempted a sexual assault, topped the nation's No.1. search engine Naver's most searched keyword list last week.
Police sought an arrest warrant for the 26-year-old Yang over rape attempt charges on Aug.24. Yang reportedly tried to rape a 21-year-old university student when he took her to a motel and told her to take a rest while he watched a DVD movie. Yang admitted to his sexual harassment charges, but denied the rape attempt.
A local TV news program airing a car accident near Seoul National University of Education subway station in southern Seoul nabbed second place.

MBC variety show "Muhandojeon" ranked seventh. Six men portraying different characters creating both discord and harmony throughout the 60-minute program is one of the weekend's favorites. When Yoo Jae-suk, the main presenter, mimicked his fellow performer Park Myung-soo's actions to mock him Saturday, the fans applauded.
Seoul Drama Awards held last Monday placed 10th. Manga-based Japanese drama "Nodame Cantabile", which airs on MBC Movies, was chosen as the best mini-series drama while Takuya Kimura
and Helen Mirren won the Best Actor and Actress Awards for their performances in "The Grand Tribe" and "Prime Suspect", respectively.
