Reward Ceremony for People of Merit for Overseas Expansion of 2008 Korean Cultural Contents

Seong-Woo Choi, the manager of Overseas Businesses Department of Nexon Corporation and Yeong-Min Kim, the delegate of SM Entertainment Co., Ltd, have been selected as people of merit for overseas expansion of Korean cultural contents.
On 22nd'Reward Ceremony for People of Merit for Overseas Expansion of 2008 Korean Cultural Contents', hosted by Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and managed by Korea Culture & Contents Agency (Director: Seok-Man Ko), has held in Contents Hall of Cultural Contents Center in Sangam-dong at 4:00 pm.
It is the 7th time of 'Reward Ceremony for People of Merit for Overseas Expansion of Korean Cultural Contents' since 2002. In this year 14 people who had a great achievement for export have been selected in five areas such as ▲ People who achieved great jobs for export ▲Uplift of National Image ▲ People who achieve great jobs for industrial development ▲Development of New Areas and ▲International PR through all areas of cultural contents. For the President Honor, Seong-Woo Choi, the manager of Overseas Businesses of Nexon Corporation and Yeong-Min Kim, the delegate of SM Entertainment Co., Ltd. have been selected.
Seok-Man Ko, the director of Korea Culture and Contents Agency, said, "Developing global market is the most important factor to grow cultural contents business as a new areas which can help Korean economy in the 21st Century" and "Now and for ever, activation of export and globalization of Koran cultural contents will be supported for those who make big achievements for export".
