On the 16^th episode of "Secret Garden" on the 2^nd of January, it shows 'Gil La-im' (Ha Ji-won) discovering the person who her father saved before he died was none other than 'Kim Ju-won' (Hyeon-bin).

'Ju-won' is looking at the calendar and realizes the date of his accident 16 years ago and 'La-im's father's passing day are the same. He then tells 'Oska' (Yoon Sang-hyun) that it's a weird coincidence and asks, "A few days ago when I was trapped in the elevator, I remembered something. The accident I don't remember, the accident everyone tells me was a car accident, was it actually an elevator accident?"

Meanwhile, 'La-im' visits her father's grave and runs into 'Ju-won's mother, 'Boon-hong' (Park Joon-geum). 'La-im' asks her, why she has put down the flowers there and if she was there to visit her father, and 'Boon-hong' starts trembling, stunned.

Later, 'Boon-hong' finds 'La-im' at her home and confesses, "'Ju-won' had an accident when he was 21 years old. There was a fireman who died then. That fireman was your father".

'Boon-hong' kneels in front of 'La-im' and begs, "I'll compensate for anything, please just don't hold 'Ju-won' down for that". The episode ended with 'La-im' crying tears at this unbelievable truth.

The fact that 'La-im' now knows 'Ju-won' was the cause of her father's death, whether she will say goodbye to him or what will happen to their malevolent fate, brings curiosity among viewers.
