Ha Ji-won has gone through hell training to become the oil drilling ship equipment manager Hae-jun in "Sector 7" where the members of the ship have to fight an unknown creature.

Ha Ji-won was a female boxer in the movie "Miracle on 1st Street", a Chosun detective who fought with swords in "Duelist" and a lavender smelling stuntwoman in the drama "Secret Garden". She has shown ever changing action and has been loved by the audience for her performances.

She is usually called 'iron strength' but for the movie "Sector 7" which is taken up mostly by action, she had to go through a long time of preparation. She carried out swimming and weight training 8 hours a day for the rough action scenes with wires and fights against the unknown creature.

To understand the character of Hae-joon whose job is unfamiliar, Ha Ji-won got a license for riding bikes and scuba diving which are Hae-joon's hobbies. Her trainer called her muscles, the best in all Korean actresses.

She thought because of the job of working on a drill ship, there should be many small muscles. She said, "I am small and I didn't want my action to look weak so I focused harder on weight training".

Ha Ji-won didn't use stand-in's for dangerous exploding and stunt scenes.

3D blockbuster "Sector 7" is about the crew on an oil ship in the middle of the sea the 'Eclipse', fighting with an unknown creature. To be released on the 4th of August.
